This project is currently at concept stage and explores a deliberately contemporary architectural response within a heritage-rich urban context. While the built form is clearly of its time, it draws cues from the surrounding fabric through considered setbacks, brick articulation and material references that acknowledge the rhythm and scale of neighbouring heritage buildings.

The narrow site is organised longitudinally into two distinct parts, allowing natural light and direct sunlight to penetrate deep into the plan. This strategic split enables a series of courtyards and gardens to be woven throughout the building, providing outlook and access to greenery from every bedroom and living space. The result is an unexpected oasis within the city, a sequence of intimate garden spaces that offer moments of surprise and delight.

A discreet, street facing garage is carefully articulated to maintain privacy while reinforcing the established streetscape rhythm and character.
