Cooee Point

In Progress

Cooee Point transforms an exceptional coastal site, currently occupied by a single dwelling, into a small residential enclave of five homes. One residence contains four bedrooms, while the remaining four are three-bedroom dwellings. The architectural language is crisp, modern, and coastal, expressed through a combination of light, textured brickwork and natural timber elements.

The planning is organised to maximise outdoor living and connection to the landscape, with multiple sheltered and open options available depending on wind direction and sun exposure. Perched on the coastline, the site enjoys panoramic ocean views, and the building apertures respond accordingly, offering a range of internal spatial experiences. Some areas open expansively to 180 degree vistas, others frame more intimate views to the coastal boobyalla’s and foreshore, while some focus upward toward the skyline and surrounding hills.

As the site sits along a popular pedestrian path, careful attention has been given to privacy through considered landscaping, screening, and strategic placement of openings. Cooee Point has received planning approval and is currently in the documentation phase, with construction scheduled to commence in mid 2026.
