A federation home reimagined for modern family life.

The project replaces a dilapidated street-front garage with a garden and formalised entry, reusing its bricks for foundation and landscaping walls. Within a heritage precinct, the new addition adopts a clean, contemporary language that respectfully echoes the original form, heights and proportions.

Interiors are energised with bold natural stone and paired playful colour. The upper level captures views of kunanyi, the city and bushland of the Domain.
