With an extensive background in boutique residential projects at Rob Kennon Architects and Preston Lane Architects, Maia specialises in residential work. She collaborates closely with clients to unpack their brief, translating ideas into thoughtful, practical spaces that evolve with family life over time. Her work is recognised for its clarity, precision and quietly inventive design outcomes. Maia brings significant experience in heritage projects, approaching them with care and sensitivity while balancing the realities of change, growth and contemporary living. She understands how to work within existing contexts without compromising on ambition or performance.

Throughout construction, Maia prioritises strong, positive relationships with builders and subcontractors, recognising that collaboration on site is fundamental to achieving successful outcomes.

Her perspective is shaped by a diverse range of professional and personal experiences, having lived and worked across Australia and overseas. Maia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Architecture) from Curtin University in Perth and a Master of Architecture from RMIT University.
